Has it occurred to anyone that Frigga, at least in Norse mythology, is supposed to possess the gift of prophecy? She knows the future, and yet tells no one because she knows that she hasn’t the power to change destiny. If we think on the implications of this, then she knew, without a doubt, that what everyone else thought to be a prison break was in truth an invasion, and that she would die as a direct result. All her decisions are made knowing that they would lead to her death. Maybe that’s why she makes such an effort to see to both of her sons right beforehand, and looks so very sad. Despite all this, she still acts bravely and faces her fate like a true warrior goddess. What an awesome lady.
How hard is it to kill nine-year-olds?
Auruo’s death really got to me.
This whole time I thought he was a condescending, arrogant douchebag who probably took on so many solo kills because he wanted the glory for himself (Auruo has 39 solo and 9 team kills) but after seeing the way he looks at Petra and reading people’s headcanons about how he probably imitated Levi so Petra would like him more, I can’t think about him the same way again.
I mean, what if he took on all those solo kills so that Petra would be in less danger? And the reason why he rarely assisted is because he was too busy watching out for her? Maybe he even pissed his pants during their first expedition just so Petra wouldn’t be the only one.
This guy even has Levi’s haircut and cravat down how much more obvious can he be?
Yeah, Auruo has a rather unlikeable personality, and he’ll never be one of my favorites, but thinking about how much he loves Petra makes me wish he could have been spared all the pain of his last moments: watching Petra die in front of his eyes, failing to slay the enemy that killed her, and dying knowing that, even with a solo kill count bested only by Levi, he could neither save nor avenge the woman he loves.
It’s the worst death he could have gotten.
#It’s basically the moment when eren gets absolutely crushed with this brutal reality #it’s not what he expected #he expect to be a hero and save the world from titans #to see the beautiful world outside the walls #and this #is when he realizes #that they are not heroes #they weren’t able to save humanity they weren’t even able to save themselves #to save their friends #and the beautiful world outside the walls turns out to be nothing but death and despair #you know shit is going heartbreaking when eren #EREN #loses his spirit #he realizes that despite the power he has gotten he is still powerless #even with his power he didn’t save his friends #I just want to hug him and every single character of this show because of everything they go through #shingeki no I will mess with your emotions and leave a hole ripped in your chest #but don’t worry I will fill it with corpses of your favourite characters #snk #sobbing forever
Just by looking at all the pictures and post everybody’s doing just breaks my heart. I’m not even ready to see the new episode tonight.

thank god for you wow man you BEAR
awesome awesome also
yes yes i know there’s no real relation between SNK and Pacific Rim but the two things i had to sort of chuckle at when i watched the movie:
- building walls to keep the kaiju out but then a super huge one comes and knocks it right down
- getting an arm and leg ripped off in battle with the Kaiju
idk man and then when the two Australian dudes get on top of their Jaeger i half expected them to launch their 3D gear and attack that titan
